Percholate
Percholate
Remediation technologies for percholate removal from drinking water are evolving rapidly as traditional approaches prove unreliable, difficult to implement, or too costly.
Kleinfelder partnered with Alliant Techsystems to perform a pilot test of a new technology we developed for in situ remediation of percholate in groundwater. Kleinfelder's work involved introducing, via a sparge well, a gaseous amendment to enhance microbial degradation of dissolved percholate. If successful, this technology could dramatically reduce the cost associated with cleanup up percholate-contaminated sites throughout the country.
