Kleinfelder Names Blair Loftis National Director of Alternative and Renewable Energy

Kleinfelder is pleased to announce that Blair T. Loftis will serve as National Director of Alternative and Renewable Energy. Operating out of the Portland, Oregon office, Loftis will focus his efforts on the renewable energy sector; including wind, utility-scale solar, biofuels, and geothermal energy. According to Loftis, Kleinfelder’s immediate focus will be to continue promoting our services in support of wind energy projects.
“Due to the pace of new development and the liquidity within this market we will execute a strategy to capture even more of the market share for Kleinfelder. We must embrace a ‘conception through completion’ mentality to better optimize all of our services that provide value to the wind industry and other aspects of the renewable portfolio. This market is growing far beyond even recent projections and the scope of services that we can provide to accommodate the pace of the industry has Kleinfelder well positioned for even greater success,” states Loftis.
Loftis rejoined the company this past spring after an extended hiatus. Loftis’ diverse background in both construction management and the regulated and merchant electricity sectors makes him well qualified for this role. Loftis has held positions including operations manager of a construction company and program manager of corporate strategy for one of the largest electric utilities in the Western United States. Most recently Blair helped lead efforts in mergers and acquisitions in line with PacifiCorp’s inorganic growth platform.
Loftis earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental toxicology from the University of California at Davis.
